The formula of the Bioderma Micellar Water is pretty special because it has remained unchanged since it first launched 30 years ago, and contains just 10 ingredients:
Aqua/Water/Eau, Peg-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Fructooligosaccharides, Mannitol, Xylitol, Rhamnose, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Propylene Glycol, Cetrimonium Bromide, Disodium Edta. [Bi 446]
My Review (or a story about how we met)
I am not sure I really need to do a review of this product, because I am sure that it’s one of the most loved products in the beauty industry, but I’ll share a few thoughts, just in case.
I have a long history with this product and I have to say when it first launched it was more of a wonder than a reality in my life. I first bought it from a French pharmacy on a rare trip to Paris when I was in my 20s, and then wished I had bought up all the stock as it was years before I could replenish it!
When I started blogging back in the day, I was lucky enough to be invited on trips to Paris a few times, and every time I could, I went to a pharmacy and bought Bioderma (also Caudalie Elixir*!!). It was a real trend back then to do that and I loved it!
Anyway, it launched in the UK a while ago now so that’s no necessary but there are so many good memories around this product!
I am absolutely loving the Bioderma x Victoria Beckham Sensibio H20 Micellar Water collaboration as it gives this special product it’s moment and acknowledges that it really was the first of its kind, and many say still the best.
Victoria Beckham says she has used this product to remove makeup for years and uses it every single day. Interestingly, VB has her own cleansers in her beauty collection but still endorses Bioderma as her go to.
