Anne Hathaway's $27K Necklace & More

The allure of “The Devil Wears Prada” goes beyond clothing; it’s also in the jewelry.

Since starting filming the movie’s sequel in New York City, Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep have been spotted in statement jewelry designs by Jemma Wynne, Marlo Laz, Briony Raymond and more. And judging by the photos, Hathaway’s Andy Sachs will have at least one signature necklace in the film, which is scheduled to debut in 2026.

Ahead, WWD breaks down the key jewelry pieces worn by Hathaway and Streep featured throughout the costume designs for the highly anticipated sequel.

To pair with Hathaway’s costumes, many of which feature pieces by Gabriela Hearst, Sacai, archival Jean Paul Gaultier and more, the costume department for the film turned to such brands as Jemma Wynne.

Wynne’s emerald-cut diamond toggle pendant necklace features prominently throughout Hathaway’s wardrobe. The one-of-a-kind piece in an 18-karat gold necklace, retailing for $14,910, features subtle elements and a delicate design that make the necklace incredibly versatile.

Jemma Wynne’s bespoke toujours diamond ear cuff was also worn by Hathaway on set.

Layering necklaces is a distinct element of Andy Sachs’ 2020s wardrobe. Heavily influenced by the Y2K aesthetic and elevated with elegant refinement, the character now goes monochrome with metallic pieces.

Along with the Jemmy Wynne emerald-cut diamond toggle pendant necklace, Hathaway’s character also wears a choker courtesy of Marlo Laz. Made of custom-crafted beads, inspired by the American Southwest and fetching a price of $26,800, the choker is designed with 14-karat yellow or rose gold.

The choker was featured as part of Hathaway’s costumes on July 21, when she wore the Gabriela Hearst Niki patchwork embroidered maxidress, on July 28 in a costume featuring Hearst designs and Paris Texas and more.

The jewelry worn by Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep):

Streep’s turn as Miranda Priestly reignites the quintessential streamlined style with a contemporary edge. Wearing designs by Jacquemus, Sa Su Phi and more, her jewelry accents the neutral, quiet luxury-inspired pieces.

Briony Raymond provided several pieces for Streep to wear throughout filming. Most prominently featured in her costumes are the yellow gold jumbo Sloan dome earrings ($7,800).

Other pieces Streep has worn by Briony Raymond include the slim Sloan diamond ring ($12,650) and the white gold jumbo cobalt necklace ($12,740).
