I don’t always feel the most confident in a slip dress, but this one – thanks to its heavier-than-expected fabric – had a beautiful drape. It has elegant spaghetti straps which sit atop a flattering mesh lining, and the back is cut into a deep-V. Though it’d definitely work with heels, it was slightly too short in length for me (taller girls, be warned).
3. The Suede Jacket
Suede jackets have been burgeoning in popularity since the autumn, when Jennifer Lawrence wore a beige suede jacket in Las Vegas – and Olivia Rodrigo donned a mustard number while watching the Manchester United vs Chelsea game at Old Trafford with boyfriend Louis Partridge. It’s hardly a new trend: suede jackets have been big since the 70s, resurfacing every autumn and layered atop knitwear, slogan t-shirts and floaty dresses.
This sub-£150 jacket was one of the first things I spotted when I entered Mango’s Regent Street shop – styled here with a head-to-toe chocolate get-up. Of which, there are countless pieces in-store right now.
4. The Rugby Shirt & Indigo Jeans
Rugby shirts aren’t really a new trend, as such – who remembers Rihanna and Hailey Bieber donning that Loewe rugby shirt circa March 2023? – they’re experiencing something of a renaissance right now. Splashed across the high street and on the Fashion Week street style scene, their appeal lies in their versatility, over-sized fit and comfortable silhouette. And the eclectic colour combs they’re sometimes cut in. Here, Mango has gone classic with a crisp navy and white.
5. The Striped Poplin Shirt
I’m in desperate need of some new workwear essentials right now – and when a colleague wore a khaki and white striped shirt to an event last week, I knew I wanted in. Striped shirts have been around for decades, of course – Chanel bought them to the height of fashion in the ’30s – but styled with a simple tuck and loosened button, they remain a timeless classic.
The khaki feels like a contemporary update on classic powder blue, but Mango has a plethora of other styles in stock right now which are equally as wearable.

7. The Suede Shopper
A quick shoutout to this suede shopper, which is spacious enough to carry my entire life to the office and then some. While it’s dropping in and out of stock faster than I can fathom, there are plenty of Mango suede shoppers on site for those who aren’t fast enough. Case in point…
8. The SELECTION Suit
Last but not least: the most epic, well-cut suit that has ever graced my limbs. Another Selection piece (or two-piece, as the case may be) – cut in a silky, wearable grey fabric. I hate for a suit to be fitted, favouring a slouchy; oversized silhouette only. Both the blazer and trousers suitably fit the bill, each piece feeling sophisticated yet comfy and wearable. You can really see creative consutlant Malina Joseph Gilchrist’s penchant for playing with the contrast between boxy and fluid.
