Brightline’s New Art Basel Train Comes With Caviar, Macarons, and Ruinart Champagne

Florida’s fan-favorite Brightline is leaning all the way into the glamour of Art Basel Miami Beach this year with a Caviar & Champagne train.

Available for a short run from Dec. 4 to Dec. 6—the height of Miami’s popular art fair—the first-ever premium offering is designed to feel more like a VIP lounge on wheels than standard rail service.

“Art Basel presents the perfect canvas to debut an ultra-luxury experience that transcends transportation,” Brightline Florida CEO Patrick Goddard said in a statement shared with Travel + Leisure. “By partnering with Golden Goat Caviar and Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Champagne, we’re curating a multi-sensory voyage that begins in our lounges and unfolds onboard, immersing our guests in a world of refinement, discovery, and elevated indulgence.”

The one-way all-inclusive experience marries two luxury partners: Golden Goat Caviar and Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, the official Champagne of Art Basel.

Together with the sleek Brightline train, the result is a sensory and sumptuous trip designed to elevate the journey to Miami before travelers even reach the main event.

The journey begins before you step foot on the train. At the Brightline stations in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, and Fort Lauderdale, guests booked on designated Caviar & Champagne southbound trains will find artisan cheeses and charcuterie curated by go-to local cheesemonger Chèvre Miami and paired with bubbly. Upon boarding, travelers receive their own caviar box with accoutrements, plus another Champagne pour, macarons, and other bites to round out the ride.

Mario Naar, the managing partner of Golden Goat Caviar, Chevre Miami, and the Sipping Station at Central Fare, told T+L in the statement the concept was “about crafting a bespoke experience where taste and artistry intersect” along with a “sensorial celebration of culture, flavor, and elevated living.”

Each Caviar & Champagne train departs West Palm Beach at 5:35 p.m. local time, departs Boca Raton at 5:59 p.m., and departs Fort Lauderdale at 6:17 p.m. The opulent experience is priced at $189 and limited to one coach per evening. Tickets do not include access to any Art Basel events.

To book, travelers can head to the Brightline website or app and look for the special “Caviar & Champagne PREMIUM Experience” label.

Art Basel Miami Beach takes place from Dec. 5 to Dec. 7 and showcases galleries from five different continents, focusing on modern and contemporary art along with emerging artists. The annual event is held in addition to fairs in other cities, including Basel, Hong Kong, and Paris.
