Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez‘s wedding was one of the most lavish, and most expensive, weddings we’ve ever seen that wasn’t a royal wedding. And now, a celebrity wants to top their $50 million event. Any guesses? Well, it’s Gemma Collins, the reality star, podcast host, and businesswoman known for her time on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex.
In a recent interview with The Mirror, she talked about her 2026 wedding, saying, “I mean, after Jeff Bezos’ wedding, I’ve sure as hell got to try and top that one, haven’t I? I had my friend DJ Fat Tony’s wedding this year and that was just so beautiful, it was just so right. They obviously put a lot of planning into it, but their day was beautiful. I am very last minute so, knowing me, I’ll probably decide two weeks before.”

For those who don’t know, Collins was first linked to mechanic, Rami Hawash in 2011, but they split up at some point before getting back together and getting engaged on Christmas Day 2013. They called off their engagement a few weeks later. However, they reconnected in 2020 at a Madonna concert, and confirmed their engagement soon after.
And now, they’re planning a woodland-themed, fairytale-like wedding, which she seemingly wants to go all out for! (Per DailyMail, she has a net worth from anywhere to $5 to $8 million.)

For those who don’t know, the pair first met at a release party for the movie Manchester by the Sea, but later reconnected in 2018 when he hired her company Black Ops Aviation, to film a bit for his space travel company, Blue Origin. The following year, their relationship is confirmed, and got engaged in May 2023 while on his $500 million yacht named Koru.
And as you already know, they got married in Venice on June 27, 2025 in a $50 million three-day event.
