Six Beautiful Souls, Now Safe
These six cats were pulled from dire situations by two dedicated rescue organizations: Furry Friends and Little Wanderers. Each has a story of survival, and now, hope.
From Furry Friends
Justice
Once a lifelong stray, Justice arrived at the shelter suffering from life-threatening mange and was nearly euthanized. Today, he’s fully recovered, enjoying his favorite meals (especially dehydrated chicken!) and slowly learning to trust. Though he still values his space, his gentle personality is beginning to shine.
Kissy Face
At approximately 17 years old, Kissy Face is a tiny cat with a quiet resilience. Rescued from Los Angeles, her past remains a mystery, but her present is filled with warmth, care, and constant purring. She’s a soft, sweet soul finally getting the love she always deserved.
Max
Pulled from the euthanasia list, Max faced multiple health challenges, including infections and dehydration. Now on the mend, his appetite is strong, and his confidence is growing. With continued care, Max is learning indoor life and would thrive in a cozy catio where he can feel safe while still enjoying the outdoors.
Zipper
At 18 years old, Zipper’s story is one of resilience. Once neglected and abused, he was rescued after a concerned neighbor intervened. Today, after years of care and healing, Zipper is the loving, gentle cat he was always meant to be: safe, comfortable, and finally at peace.
From Little Wanderers
Koala
Found heavily pregnant in the Bronx just before a major blizzard, Koala’s rescue came just in time. Once fearful and defensive, she transformed in foster care, softening into a trusting, gentle cat. Now, she prepares to give birth indoors, surrounded by safety and warmth instead of danger and cold.
Sea Hawk
Sea Hawk’s survival is nothing short of extraordinary. Found trapped in a boiler room window, suffering from frostbite and neurological trauma, she fought against overwhelming odds. Today, despite her injuries, she is safe, warm, and learning to trust again—a true symbol of resilience.
