Heidi Klum is both one of the greatest models and Instagram posters of all time, which puts a major issue in place for the general population. You see, we’re offered such an abundance of images of the 51-year-old that it can be be overwhelming at times. We might find it hard to give our undivided attention to certain details from her appearances, like a really great manicure, before it’s time to move on to the next.

For the last few days, Klum has been bopping around New York City with a sharp, milky manicure. She’s been carrying Easter baskets and waving to fans with the nail look, and her simple outfit on Wednesday, April 23 really allowed it to shine.

Worn long and filed into a stiletto shape, Klum’s nails were painted a variation of the neutral, milky nail color that celebs that have been loving lately. It’s very much giving OPI’s Bubble Bath, which we know is great on nails of every shape, size, and level of fame. Klum, for her part, seemed to utilize less coats of lacquer to avoid opacity; the finish was semi-sheer and super glossy.

The Project Runway host paired her mani with an A-line black leather mini skirt (hi, indie sleaze!), matching pumps, and cropped black tee. Her blonde hair was middle parted and blown out, and oversized sunglasses covered her eyes but did nothing to conceal the celeb beneath them. To be fair, it’s a hard task when you have those über recognizable legs working against you.

The lessons here: hold on to your American Apparel skater skirts for life and don’t say auf wiedersehen to milky manicures just yet. Soap or stiletto, they’re here to stay.
