Megan Thee Stallion Is 30 Today—Here's Her Best Beauty Advice

While we all know and love Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion for her lengthy discography of pump-up songs and hot girl anthems, we’ve come to appreciate the Texas-born artist’s extensive beauty knowledge, too. Hot Girl Meg has taught us more than a thing or two about owning our beauty, from her candid product recommendations to her out-of-the-box beauty looks. To celebrate Thee Stallion’s 30th birthday today, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite Megan beauty-isms to help her ring in the new decade.

Shop Smart: Megan’s Drugstore Beauty Staples

We live in an ever-growing beauty world, where it seems like products just get more and more expensive on the daily. One thing Megan Thee Stallion has taught us, though, is that your beauty routine doesn’t have to break the bank. In Harper’s Bazaar’s “Go To Bed With Me” video, the rapper revealed that the product she loves to wash off the “20 pounds of makeup” she wears during the day is none other than Cetaphil’s Daily Facial Cleanser ($15). “I have kind of sensitive skin too—anything makes me break out,” she said in the video. “[Cetaphil’s cleanser] is something I’ve realized is one of the only things I can use.” Before she cleanses, though, she opts for Neutrogena’s Makeup Remover Wipes ($14). “It don’t matter what I put on my face; these are gonna take it off in like three swipes.”

Megan’s Harper’s Bazaar video is not the only time she’s shown off her budget-friendly beauty buys. At the 2024 VMAs, Thee Stallion sported The Inkey List’s Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm ($13) on the red carpet. Meg’s makeup artist for the night, Lauren Child, highlighted the affordable lippie, explaining that she’d “be using this product throughout the night for a quick gloss during touch-ups,” as the peptide-infused gloss “gives the lips a healthy, juicy appearance.” Thee Stallion is also a Revlon beauty ambassador and has been known to slay her own glam with dozens of the brand’s under-$10 products.

Discipline Is Key in a Hot Girl Fitness Routine

This past April, Thee Stallion sat down with Women’s Health to chat about all things life, wellness and staying fit, and her perspective on exercising was refreshingly relatable, revealing that getting herself out of bed in the morning is never easy. “I have to get mentally prepared,” she tells the outlet. “I’m like, ‘I can stay here for another hour, or I can get up and go work out and be a bad bitch. If I want to be a stallion and not a pony, I got to get up and put in the work.’” In terms of her actual fitness routine, Thee Stallion alternates between cardio, lifting and pilates for a holistic regimen. “I’m in a space where I feel good mentally, so I want to look as good as I feel,” Thee Stallion told Women’s Health, noting that her priorities include having “strong legs” and looking “like you can jump high,” she says. “I love that look.”

Beauty Should Be Fun

Lately, Megan has been fully embracing her reputation as a true fashion and beauty guru and getting even more experimental with her looks, teaching us all that beauty should be fun. On a trip to Japan last year, Thee Stallion made cow print nails our biggest manicure inspiration, followed not long after by making short nails—or mini manis as she called it—hot again and, most recently, completely turning the manicure world on its head with her upside-down nails. All this is to say that one of the most important things Megan Thee Stallion has taught us is to have fun with our beauty aesthetics.
