If you like a little spice in the kitchen (duh!), then Ree Drummond is your girl. The Southern Food Network personality, officially known as The Pioneer Woman, is all about adding a kick of flavor to your favorite meals. It’s why we love her so much! And now, her latest summer pasta dish rivals Meghan Markle’s famous one-pan pasta — and it’s all because of two delicious ingredients.
The Pioneer Woman recently shared the recipe for her Cherry Tomato Pasta, which she calls “bright, fast, and full of flavor.”
Start by boiling the spaghetti noodles in a large pot of salted water. While that’s going, heat oil in a large skillet with garlic and red pepper flakes (a little spice that’s missing in Markle’s dish!). She also adds cherry tomatoes and a few other ingredients, stirring until the tomatoes are golden and starting to burst. We can practically feel the flavor on our tongues!
From there, you’ll add pasta, parmesan, and other ingredients to the sauce, topping with one other ingredient that’s missing in Markle’s dish: ricotta cheese. You can never have too much cheese, right?
It’s perfect as a yummy Meatless Monday vegetarian dish, or you can add some grilled chicken for extra protein. Serve with a salad (and maybe a tasty dinner roll!), and you have your family’s new favorite summer dish.
The Pioneer Woman always seems to have the best pasta recipes, from her Sunshine Pasta Salad, which she says “screams summer,” to her 5-Cheese Pasta that she claims is the “most incredible baked macaroni you’ve ever tasted,” you can’t go wrong with anything she makes.
