The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 3 can’t come out quick enough after an explosive season 2 reunion left us with more questions than answers.
After debuting in September 2024 with a bombshell first season following a group of Utah TikTok stars, many of whom are members of the Mormon Church, season 2 left us on a cliffhanger after premiering in May. On July 1, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Reunion Special also delved into some new drama but left us hanging, hinting that we’ll have to wait until season 3 to see it all play out.
So, what do we know about The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 3?
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 3 Release Date
Hulu has not announced an official release date for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, but we can likely expect it to air in Fall 2025.
In May, cast member Whitney Leavitt told Us Weekly that the cast is “filming right now,” and we already saw teasers for what’s to come at the end of season 2, so it seems like a lot of season 3 has already been filmed.
In October 2024, Hulu picked up the show for an additional 20 episodes after season 1 aired. Given that there were 10 episodes in season 2 plus the reunion, we know that we can expect at least 9 more episodes of the show.
What Will ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Season 3 Be About?
Season 3 is expected to pick up after season 2’s cliffhanger ending, in which Vanderpump Villa star Marciano Brunette alleges that he had an affair with Jessi Ngatikaura after the SLOMW cast trip to Italy. At the reunion, Jessi confirmed that she and husband Jordan were “working through a lot of hard things” but made it clear that we’d have to wait for season 3 to see it all play out.
“We’re both going through a lot right now, but I think he’s willing to tell his truth, too, and he’s been very vulnerable throughout Season 3, so we both just laid it all out there,” Jessi said. “There’s a lot more to the story, and it’s not what you think it is.”
A trailer for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 3 aired at the end of the season 2 reunion and showed Jessi confronting Marciano, accusing him of lying. Marciano claims he “was being influenced,” as the camera dramatically cuts to Demi Engemann.
Other season 3 storylines featured in the trailer include Jen Affleck questioning her Mormon faith, Layla Taylor reckoning with how her racial identity has been shaped by Utah-culture, Taylor Frankie Paul finally standing up to her mom who defended her cheating baby daddy Dakota Mortensen in season 2, and Whitney Leavitt declaring her plans to start her own MomTok.
Which Cast Members Are Returning for ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Season 3?
The entire main cast is expected to return for season 3. This means Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, Taylor Frankie Paul, Demi Engemann, Jen Affleck, Mayci Neely, Miranda McWhorter, Whitney Leavitt, and Mikayla Matthews will all be back on our screens.
Demi, who notably skipped the season 2 reunion and declared she was leaving MomTok in season 2, does appear in the season 3 trailer, so she seems to be coming back for more.
