Try Jennifer Lopez’s Classic French Manicure This Spring

Over the weekend, Jennifer Lopez stepped out in New York City for a very special date. The big occasion: the premiere of Othello on Broadway. The special someone she chose to spend the night with: her very flesh and blood, 17-year-old Emme of celebrity baby twins Max/Emme fame.

“Othello premiere with the best date ever,” Lopez wrote via Instagram on March 24. Scrolling through the post, which was full of adorable mama/offspring photos, you could also find the best manicure to add to your spring mood board.

The special event took place on March 23, just days after the spring equinox. Obviously, the official start of spring calls for some tidying up, and this manicure was as clean as they come.

Long and oval shaped, each of Lopez’s nails had the same classic French design. Her base coat was a pinky, opaque neutral shade while each tip was decorated with an average-sized stripe of white.

It’s the mani you’d get if you walked into the salon and asked for a modern French, making sure they went hard with the glossy top coat. And although we’ve seen it before, it still hits every time. Trendsetters can follow trends, too!

Though her nails weren’t decked out in shimmering crystals this time around, the 55-year-old did choose to add some glimmer to her look in other ways. Makeup artist Kate Best had a heavy hand with the highlighter and lip gloss, offering the star a warm glow that was so very J.Lo.

Hairstylist Barry Lee Moe slicked her hair back into a pretty, braided bun so her long locks didn’t distract from her high-necked, crop top gown, which was positively covered in bling.
