December’s 42 Best Beauty and Style Launches, From Cozy to Festive

The weather outside? Actually frightful. Meanwhile, my fireplace is non-functional. Thank goodness online shopping exists! Even if you’re not planning on leaving the house, even if you don’t have an ideal indoor setting to cozy up in, you can still dream of the idle afternoons and/or holiday soirees to come—and get started on your outfits and makeup looks.

Ahead, discover our favorite new beauty and style finds launching this month. From iridescent eyeliners to the comfiest cashmere, there’s something for everyone and every sort of December day.

Gabe Gordon Hardbody Eau de Parfum

While we wait for a chance to wear our Spring/Summer 2026 looks, we can bask in the molecules of a perfume inspired by them. Released alongside their latest collection, Gabe Gordon‘s Hardbody EDP features notes of latex, rose, metal, and leather,

“The show explored a world where the body becomes part of the machine—sweat sticking to car leather, latex pulled tight, floral notes pressed against chrome, synthetic materials warming with contact,” the brand shared in a press release. “Hard Body carries the tension of impact and the charge of desire.”

Sol de Janeiro Rosa Charmosa Dewy Body Cream

When I think Sol de Janeiro, I think brightness and juiciness and color and full-on Brazilian vacation party time. Not necessarily soft florals. But there are times on any vacation when you get ahead of yourself. You need to take a step back… look inward… stop and smell the roses, perhaps? We all need a soft floral moment, and the brand crafted theirs well.

A little softer than what we’re used to while remaining so Sol, the brand’s newest body cream is a water-whipped, luminosity-boosting formula that specializes in hydration—both immediately and up to 48 hours after application. It’s formulated with soothing and balancing rosewater and crystal peptides to boost luminosity. Winter is sad, but this makes me (and my skin) feel better.

Heaven Mayhem x The Skinny Confidential Bedside Box

My nightstand broke this week. It’s interesting timing, considering I’ve had my eye on the Heaven Mayhem x The Skinny Confidential Bedside Box(es). Available in a book design or with the gorgeous green crocodile situation seen above, these organizing essentials slide right under your bed and hold all your most precious belongings. Or rather, they hold the things that you want nearby but don’t want cluttering up your side table.

California Incline The Drift Jacket

California Incline’s first outerwear design is here, and it’s gorgeous. Boasting a relaxed fit, the unisex Drift Jacket was created as “a layer that works in every California season.”

“We felt we needed something that could work year-round as a layering piece that was both understated and refined,” explained brand founder Kelsey Chapman. “Its textured woven cotton gives a soft, natural feel, and the two neutral shades, Chestnut and Natural, are a natural extension of the California Incline palette.”

Jimmy Fairly The Kiva Eyeglasses

Earlier this month, the very chic (and celeb loved) Parisian optician brand Jimmy Fairly opened a flagship store in New York. The space is incredibly well designed, and I suggest you head over there to pick out a new pair of frames before your eye insurance resets on January 1. If you’re not local? An online browse will do the trick. Or go straight for the new Kiva frames in deep orange. They’re perfect for citrus season.

Ouai Santorini Hair & Body Fragrance Mist

Speaking of citrus season… would you care for a geta-ouai? This month, Ouai launched two new destination-inspired hair and body mists: Santorini (a “bright blend of peach, orange, honeysuckle, and amber”) and Ibiza (an “intoxicating blend of cocoa, tonka bean, vanilla, and rum”). I badly need a beach vacation, but for now these will do the trick.

Winter whimsy wins again. The Marc Jacobs Daisy Murakami collection pairs two iconic worlds in a delightfully bottled scent. Are you team yellow, pink, green, or blue?

I’ve seen a lot of opinions about appropriate going out-wear on my FYP recently, and my ultimate takeaway is that… it really doesn’t matter. If I want to be comfy (especially when home for the holidays and heading to a townie staple) and have the opportunity to remain in a perfect oversized sweatshirt, I’m going to take it. This, then, is my endorsement for wearing The Bar to the bar, especially their new, ultra-cozy teddy collection.

Another day, another ultra-exciting e.l.f. launch. These new lip oil sticks provide buildable color and natural shine. It’s your favorite Glow Reviver Lip Oil, only in solid format. And yes, you should have both in your purse.

Do you double cleanse? I just started, but I might stop now that this balm cleanser exists. With fermented camellia oil, lipids, and ceramides, it can melt away sunscreen and makeup plus reinforce the skin barrier all in one go.

Although the Rick Owens x Selahatin horn-handled toothbrush promptly sold out, their fancy toothpaste is still available. It’s more understated to wear designer on your breath, anyway. Owens uses the brand’s toothpaste because he loves their font. We use it because we love the font and we love Rick Owens.

RŌZ Salt Scalp Scrub Exfoliating Detox Shampoo

I don’t think anything is going to beat it in the next few weeks, so I’ll just say now: the most satisfying hair washing experience I had in 2025 was all thanks to this new scrub. Besides smelling so nice and feeling amazing when massaged in, the pH-balanced scalp shampoo features both physical and chemical exfoliation to remove buildup.

Ring Pop x Brilliant Earth Strawberry Sweetheart Ring

Pretty pretty princess, is that you? It came in the eleventh hour, but Ring Pop x Brilliant Earth is one of the smartest collabs I’ve seen this year. The giant lab rocks are so sweet, though they certainly won’t taste as good as their sugar-based sister.

Here’s the thing: You can only get this particular robe at MSG. But it’s worth the trip! Otherwise, Hommey has a whole array of plushy robes in fun colors on their website. We all know you love your team, anyway. Don’t worry.

Arquiste Nocturnality Eau de Parfum

I know we should be coordinating our sleep schedule with the sunset, but as the days get shorter I always become more of a night owl. Even if I’m staying home, Arquiste’s new fragrance—a latex and leather “oud-style” scent that the brand calls a “perfumer’s take on neon-soaked nightlife”—makes me want to appreciate the midnight hours.

Cutting down my athleisure collection is a constant struggle, but… maybe I can get one more thing. This one makes sense, because it’s actual two things!
