We Found Meghan Markle’s Go-To Milky Nail Polish

From the fanciest of fancy events across the globe to time spent at home, digging around her Montecito backyard, Meghan Markle always looks stunning. And as any good royal (or former royal) should, she’s all about sharing the wealth when it comes to her beauty.

That means no gatekeeping!!

Though we already took our precious time finding everything Markle wears in her new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, the 43-year-old was gracious enough to clue us in on a not-so-easily-identifiable aspect of her look: her classic milky manicure.

Earlier this week, the mother of two linked to a new Shop My account on her Instagram page. Though it was fun to revisit all her natural fiber T-shirts and great jeans, it was the beauty section of the site that really struck me. Next to her favorite drugstore Lotta Body Control Me Edge Gel, a kit of Tata Harper masks, and a variety of lip products (I’m pleased to report that the Duchess of Sussex and I share a fondness for Summer Fridays’ Iced Coffee flavor), she snuck two nail polishes in.

As it turns out, that gorgeous, creamy look from the show actually consisted of two shades: CND Shellac in Satin Slippers and Romantique. The trick here is to apply one coat of each.

“You’ve asked about my nail polish on With Love, Meghan—one coat of each, plus a few of my other essentials. Enjoy!” she wrote in her Instagram story. And we all got clicking.

If you watched any of the Netflix show, you probably learned pretty early on that this wasn’t a “how to get dressed for a royal wedding” piece of entertainment. Instead, it was all homemade honey cakes and wellies. The makeup and hair matched the theme.

When her long darks weren’t worn down and middle parted, Markle threw them up in easy, pretty buns and ponytails, letting a couple of wavy strands linger around her face. Her makeup was equally understated, featuring glow-boosting products like the RMS Beauty Luminizer, Jane Iredale Purepressed Eye Shadow, and Saie Glowy Super Gel.

Okayyy, Meghan. When is season two coming? My nails are painted, my shopping cart is filled, and I’m ready for more.
