Blueberry milk nails were all over our feeds in 2023. Love it or hate it, the color is back for spring. New York City editorial nail artist Jin Soon Choi says she likes this pastel to be fresh, understated, and not overly opaque. “Think of a subtle, almost sheer whisper of color,” says Choi. But in keeping with 2025’s shiny theme, we’ll likely see baby blue nails doused in iridescent chrome, like the mani above, created by @melananted.mani, a.k.a. Anna.
For this trend, Choi recommends her own polish, JinSoon Bliss, a light, violet-toned blue. We love French Blue from Côte Beauty, a powdery baby blue that’s a shade lighter than Bliss. If you want an iridescent finish, opt for shimmery Death Valley Nails Stone Cold Fox.

Like adding cream to a strong cup of coffee, choosing a milky pastel version of your favorite polish can mellow out the overall vibe of your look. Case in point: this look that’s sweeping social media right now. Similar to the baby blue trend, lavender milk nails are “a soft, sometimes sheer purple that make your nails look like a sweet treat for spring,” says Miss Pop.
