Emma Thompson may be an A-lister, but she’s also a mom, and now, her daughter, Gaia Wise, is an actor just like her. And in a truly cosmic turn of events, they’re working together; and are being style icons together.
On Aug 8, the Love Actually star and Gaia went on a super-rare joint red carpet appearance for the 78th Locarno Film Festival. They not only arrived, but they arrived in style, as you can see in the photos below:

As you can see, the pair both look alike, and dress boldly! While Thompson wore a fringe silver top and white pants look, Gaia also turned heads in a sheer black Max Mara gown. They arrived to the event since both are in Brian Kirk’s The Dead of Winter, with Gaia playing the younger version of Thompson’s character.

For those who don’t know, Thompson met her husband Greg Wise on the set of Sense and Sensibility in 1995. They married in 2003 and have two children: a daughter named Gaia, born in Dec 1999, and then they adopted a boy named Tindyebwa Agaba in 2003.
In a previous interview with The DailyMail, Thompson talked about how motherhood can be a lot, but it’s worth it. “Motherhood is a full-time job. The only way I could have continued working would have been by delegating the running of the home to other people.”
