Sometimes, on a random Tuesday in September, the universe gives you a present. The universe, in this case, is the house of Gucci. The treat is a short film by Spike Jonze and Halina Reijn called The Tiger, which premieres tonight in Milan (you can stream it online tomorrow) with some of our favorite celebrities—and some very good hair.
“The story of The Tiger follows Barbara Gucci, Head of Gucci International and Chairman of California, as she gathers her children and a special guest at the family home
to celebrate her birthday,” reads the film’s bio on Gucci’s website. The film is taking the place of the brand’s SS26 runway collection, and serves as Creative Director Demna’s highly anticipated debut for the brand.
According to a trailer posted to the brand’s Instagram account, Demi Moore is taking on the role of Barbara. Per usual, her hair is heavily featured in the project, but this situation offers even more than the always-thrilling opportunity to see her long, silky, dark locks in action. She has bangs.

Moore’s (or Barbara Gucci’s??) bangs are long and perfectly wispy, falling just past her eyebrows and blending perfectly with her ultra-long, layered haircut. In the clip, we see her hair worn wavy, sleek and straight, and potentially in an updo.
Though Moore has worn faux bangs for projects here and there, it’s been a while since she’s actually chopped her own hair. The thing about cutting bangs with locks like that is it would take a long time to grow them out if you were over the fringe. Still, she was really into them in the ’90s, and one thing we know about ’90s trends is they’re making a grand return.
