Hailey Bieber Wore the Prettiest Pink Lip Gloss Nails

Hailey Bieber is a lot of things: a brand founder, a mom, a model, a former ballerina. She’s also a soft autumn, which means she absolutely kills in a jewel tone.

We can’t all be so lucky though, can we? If you’re not as comfy with color as the Biebs, that’s more than okay—she even has an idea for you.

On Thursday, April 24, Bieber attended the Daily Front Row Fashion Los Angeles Awards where she was named Beauty Innovator of the Year. The 28-year-old chose a marine blue crushed velvet Schiaparelli dress for the evening, forgoing dramatic jewelry (besides her massive engagement ring) so we could focus on its ultra-high slit… and her manicure, which featured the subtlest pop of pink.

Though she was being celebrated for innovation, the model decided to play into a fairly simple trend for the evening: lip gloss nails. Long and almond-shaped, each fingernail featured a light, sheer coat of pink polish with the shiniest finish that was so very similar to the look you get from swiping your favorite gloss across your pout.

“This trend is like the neutral version of the jelly trend that was big,” celebrity nail artist Sonya Belakhlef previously told Byrdie when talking about the trend. “This year, we’ve seen a lot of really intricate and bold nail arts trending, including cool geometric looks and bright, neon colors. With nail trends, the pendulum always swings, and more minimal looks like this are like a breath, or a pause, between the bigger looks.”

Per usual, her lip gloss (excuse me, I should probably be saying Peptide Lip Tint) manicure was the work of Zola Ganzorigt. Ever the experts, the rest of her glam team worked from the same quiet, glossy glam mood board.

Worn straight and middle parted, her hair was straight and supremely shiny. Her makeup was glowy and her lips were, yes, a little glossy (though not pink, so sad).
