Hollister x Target Launches Trendy Dorm Decor Line – Here’s What to Know

Calling all high school grads and returning college students, it’s time to start thinking about your dorms and apartments. We know, we know, summer just started, and we definitely don’t want to rush till the end. Still, the reality is, if you’re heading off to college or returning to campus in the fall, you gotta start getting your gear as early as possible, which is why Hollister and Target are launching a new home and dorm decor line this month. 

Just announced this morning, this new collaboration marks Hollister’s first move into the home and decor space. Now, I don’t know about you, but I used to dream about turning my room into a Hollister store, and while this collection won’t do exactly that, it’s pretty dang close. Plus, with Target being a premier destination for all things dorm- and first-apartment-oriented, this pair is a match made in heaven. The new capsule includes all the essentials from comforters, sheets, and blankets, to soft plushies, cozy sweats, and comfy loungewear, with prices as low as $20. 

“Shopping for a college dorm or bedroom is an exciting milestone, and we are thrilled to bring  Hollister to that experience,” said Fran Horowitz, CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch Co in the press release. “By combining the comfort and versatility Hollister is known for with Target’s expertise in designing affordable dorm and home items, this collection helps us reach more customers during important new beginnings.” 

As I said before, Target is a go-to spot for dorm and home shopping. Every fall, new bedding, furniture, and whatever else a cool living space needs make their way to the department store shelves so nice that it makes everyone want to head back to academia. And after previewing the latest collection yesterday, I was ready to sign up for classes. But luckily, we don’t have to wait until August to do either. The new Hollister x Target collection is set to drop online and in-store on Sunday, June 28th.
