However, for the first time, this year’s summer Prime Day will be a whopping four days long! Giving shoppers twice the time to shop on “millions of deals.” Yes, you read that right, millions — according to Amazon, the e-retailer plans to drop literal truckloads of worthy deals to make this your best Prime Day yet. When is Amazon Prime Day 2025?
It’s official: This year, Amazon Prime Day is set to take place over four days. From Tuesday, July 8 through Friday, July 11, shoppers can take advantage of Amazon’s best prices of the year for 96 hours — Amazon’s longest Prime Day yet.
What is Amazon Prime Day?
Only the best shopping event ever! But seriously, Amazon Prime Day is now a four-day event where Prime members get to “take advantage of deep discounts across more than 35 categories,” according to the brand. This year, the giant e-retailer is promising top-tier deals on the best brands, viral goodies, and Amazon exclusives on everything from electronics and kitchen appliances to beauty products and apparel. Amazon is even offering unbeatable deals on school supplies to get your Back-to-Class shopping done early. At this point, there’s very little you can’t save on during Prime Day.
Do I Have to Be A Prime Member to Shop Amazon Prime Day 2025?
Yes! The number one rule to Prime Day is that you’ve gotta be an Amazon Prime member to participate. And if you’re not a member already, you could think that you don’t want to pay for another subscription or that it’s not even worth it. But as a shopping writer who deal-hunts for a living and has had a Prime account since college, I can tell you it is oh-so worth having one.
Aside from gaining access to arguably one of the best online sales of the year, having an Amazon Prime account gives you free two-day (and, at times, next-day) shipping on all eligible orders.
